At Best Brains and Minds Specialist clinic, we are committed to providing timely and accessible care to all patients. 

To ensure fairness and appointment availability, we kindly ask that you adhere to the following cancellation guidelines.

A minimum of 24 working hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule any psychiatrist or general treatment appointment. 

Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment time, or failure to attend, may incur a late cancellation or non-attendance fee. 

Doctor’s appointments cancelled within this period will incur a fee of $50. 

For extended or specialised treatment sessions, including accelerated or intensive treatment programs, a minimum of 48 working hours’ notice is required. 

Late cancellations or missed appointments may incur a higher fee, reflecting the time reserved specifically for your care. 

For all pre-paid telehealth and telephone appointments, if there is a no show, you will forfeit your payment for that appointment. 

Drs may choose to offer a 15 minute (bulk-billed appointment) at the next appointment.

Cancellation fees may vary depending on the type and duration of the appointment. 

All fees listed above are indicative only and may be adjusted in accordance with the clinic’s current policy. 

To cancel or reschedule an appointment, please contact the clinic by phone or email during business hours. 

Patients who arrive late may have their appointment shortened to avoid delays for other patients, and full fees may still apply.
