Dr. Ho completed his Doctor of Medicine at the University of New South Wales in 2013. He gained valuable experience during his internship and residency training at Central Coast Local Health District. In 2016, he embarked on the fellowship training program with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP).
Dr. Ho honed his skills at various teaching hospitals, including Gosford Hospital, Wyong Hospital, and Hornsby Hospital. His clinical experience encompasses forensic psychiatry and custodial mental health settings, where he served as a Forensic Psychiatry Advanced Trainee at the Forensic Hospital, Concord Hospital, and Silverwater Correctional Complex. Throughout his advanced training, Dr. Ho received formal training in providing expert evidence to the courts and the Mental Health Review Tribunal. In 2019, he furthered his education by completing a postgraduate degree, Master of Medicine (Psychiatry), at the University of Sydney. Dr. Ho achieved Fellowship in the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) in 2021.
Currently, Dr. Ho is pursuing advanced training in the Faculty of Forensic Psychiatry of the RANZCP. Additionally, he is enrolled in the Master of Forensic Mental Health postgraduate program at the University of New South Wales.
Dr. Ho focuses on mood disorders, psychotic disorders, and emerging evidence-based treatments in the field of novel neuromodulation techniques. He is dedicated to forming therapeutic partnerships with his patients, employing an empathetic and non-judgmental approach. Dr. Ho has extensive experience working with individuals from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds, ensuring inclusive and culturally sensitive care.
